When you request auto transport services, we begin by gathering all the necessary information such as the make and model of your vehicle, pick-up and delivery locations, and desired pick-up and delivery dates. Our team then provides you with a quote and works with you to schedule the best time for your vehicle to be picked up. We will keep you informed throughout the entire process and once your vehicle is picked up, we will transport it to the designated location in a safe and efficient manner. Our goal is to make the process as stress-free and seamless as possible for you.


Do you offer door to door service?

Certainly! We provide a door-to-door service, which involves picking up your vehicle from your location and delivering it to your specified destination. This makes the entire process convenient and hassle-free for our customers. However, the availability of this service and the associated fees may vary depending on the locations involved. Therefore, it is advisable to inquire about door-to-door service when you obtain a price quote from your chosen auto transport provider.


What types of vehicles can be transported?

Auto transport services can typically transport a wide range of vehicles, including cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, vans, RVs, boats, ATVs, classic/exotic cars, military vehicles, construction equipment, and more. The exact types of vehicles a company can handle may vary, so it's essential to discuss your specific needs with the chosen transport provider.


What insurance coverage is provided during transportation?

During transportation, we understand that accidents or damage can occur that may lead to financial losses. That's why we assign drivers who have insurance coverage of up to $1,000,000 to provide adequate protection. This coverage protects against any loss or damage that may occur during transportation, giving you peace of mind.


What is the cost of shipping a vehicle?

Shipping a vehicle can be a significant expense, and the cost of the shipment can vary depending on various factors. The distance between the pickup and delivery locations is one of the most crucial factors affecting the cost. The longer the distance, the higher the cost of shipping. Another factor is the type of vehicle being shipped. The size, weight, and type of vehicle can all impact the cost.

The method of transportation also plays a role in determining the cost. For instance, if you opt for an enclosed carrier or a more specialized transport service, you can expect to pay more.

The urgency of the shipment can also impact the price. If you need your vehicle shipped as soon as possible, you may have to pay more for expedited shipping.

Lastly, the season and demand can impact the cost. For example, during peak demand seasons or holidays, the cost of vehicle shipment may increase due to increased demand


How do I prepare my vehicle for shipping?

When getting your vehicle ready for transportation, it's important to follow a few steps to ensure everything goes smoothly. Start by cleaning your car and taking photos of any existing damage. This will help you have a record of the condition of your vehicle before it's shipped. Next, remove any personal items and make sure that the fuel level is at around a quarter of a tank. Check for leaks and disable any alarms that your car may have. If your vehicle has any specific requirements, be sure to communicate them with BAH Logistics. It's also a good idea to remove any custom accessories that could be damaged during transportation. Lastly, provide a spare key and be prepared to sign the bill of lading when the time comes.


Could you please clarify the payment process? Are there any regulations or restrictions I need to be aware of?

Our payment process consists of two parts. The first payment is required upon assigning a driver for the pick-up, and the second payment is due when the driver delivers the item. Both payments are included in the quoted amount and are divided into two parts to make the process more manageable.


Is it necessary for me to be present during the pickup or delivery of my vehicle?

It is not mandatory for the customer to be present during transportation. However, you may designate authorized representatives to be present on your behalf. These representatives must be able to sign the proof of inspection and the BOL (bill of lading).


What happens if my vehicle is larger than standard and has modifications?

If your vehicle is larger than the standard size or has modifications, don't worry, we can still help you with your shipment. However, please note that the cost of our services may slightly vary from the original quote to cater to the specific requirements of your unique vehicle.


What happens if the carrier experiences delays or issues during transit?

When a carrier experiences delays or problems during transit, they will inform you of the situation and work on resolving it as quickly as possible. This might include rescheduling the delivery or offering compensation for significant delays. It's important to maintain open and clear communication with the carrier during these situations to ensure a smooth resolution.


Can I change the destination or addresses after transportation has been scheduled?

If you need to change the destination or addresses after the transportation has been scheduled, it is possible to do so. However, please keep in mind that if there is a significant distance difference between the original and new destination, the arrangements may need to be altered. In such cases, it is advisable to inform us as soon as possible. We will work with you to make the necessary changes to the transportation arrangements and ensure that your shipment is delivered safely and on time. Please note that any changes made to the transportation arrangements may result in additional fees or charges.


Are there any restrictions on the items that I can keep inside my vehicle?  

As per the regulations, you are permitted to store personal items inside your vehicle as long as they do not exceed 150 pounds in weight and are placed below the window level. Please note that any items protruding from the vehicle or obstructing the driver's view are strictly prohibited and may result in a penalty. It is also advised to properly secure the items to prevent them from moving around while driving, which could cause damage to the vehicle.


What steps should I take if I’m not satisfied with the service provided.
